27 habits towards happiness

Living a happy, more satisfying life is within one’s reach. You just have to tweak some of your regular habits and before you know it, you are there!

Here are some suggestions for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly habits, to help you quickstart your quest. Remove some in the list if they add stress or does not fit your lifestyle. But hopefully, with a little practice, you will find out what works best for you.

Daily Habits: 1) Smile; 2) Exercise; 3) Get plenty of sleep; 4) Eat with good mood; 5) Practice gratitude; 6) Give a compliment;  7) Breathe deeply; 8) Acknowledge the unhappy moments;  9) Keep a journal; 10) Face stress head-on; 11) Avoid comparing yourself to others.

Weekly habits: 12) Declutter; 13) See friends; 14) Plan your week; 15) Ditch your phone; 16) Get into nature; 17) Explore meditation; 18) Consider therapy; 19) Self-care ritual.

Monthly Habits: 20) Give back; 21) Take yourself out; 22) Create a thought list.

Yearly Habits: 23) Review your goals; 24) Take time to reflect; 25) Take care of your body; 26) Let go of grudges; 27) Plan a trip.
