Dear Jollibee,
I’ve been trying to reach you but I received notification that my message could no longer be delivered because your inbox has gotten too full.
The reason why I’m doing this is because I want to tell you about Max.
Max is a rescued stray under the care of Dumaguete Animal Sanctuary (DAS) which is located in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Max is very old now, about 13 years old, and has late-stage renal disease. He’s had several scares but he always managed to get through them.
Vets say, however, that given his advanced age and physical condition, he really doesn’t have much time left.
Max is always sick, and had been refusing to eat. But his carers discovered that he never says no to Jollibee’s Chickenjoy.
He shouldn’t be given meat because of the condition of his kidneys but he doesn’t have long to live, so DAS just goes ahead anyway and gives him his heart’s desire.
Denying Max what makes him happy will not prolong his life. But giving him his beloved Jollibee Chickenjoy would make his last days happier ones.
For example, Max is almost always bed-bound now but he gets out of his bed when there’s Chickenjoy for him.
I’m telling you about him because Jollibee Corporation might want to take Max in, and sponsor his Chickenjoys.
Thus far, DAS supporters have been sending him a lot of love by donating to his Chickenjoy fund so he never runs out.
But it would nice if a giant corporation like Jollibee would do something nice for a dying old dog that loves its chicken.
Here are links to posts made by DAS about Max, and his love for your chicken.

Note to reader: If you know somebody who knows somebody in Jollibee Corporation, please do Max a small favor by telling them about Max.
