Anti-indecency Board conducts inspections

Members of the City’s reconstituted Anti-Indecency Board have been inducted by Mayor Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, tasked to enforce Ordinance No. 65 Series of 2005 amended in 2006, against obscene acts and literature in business establishments and shows.

Specifically the ordinance prohibits the filming, videotaping, exhibition, printing, circulation or sale of obscene pictures, film, books, or publications, stage shows and skits in the City of Dumaguete.

Mayor Remollo has appointed to the Anti-Indecency Board the following, Phoebe Tan (Chairperson) and as members are City Administrator Lilani Ramon, John Vincent Sumalpong of the Special Enforcement Unit, Shealtiela Paz R. Caro of the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Adriel Zane Maxino of the City Legal Office, Sherlyn Abella representing the local media, PCMS Jinky P. Alalong of the PNP, Hon. Maelyne Rose Mariano of KALIPI, Hon. Ramil Cornelia of the Liga ng mga Barangay and Tigie James R. Tanilon of LYDO as Board Secretary. (City PIO)
