The students showcased their creativity and technical expertise through detailed presentations, highlighting sustainable and community-centered solutions aimed at uplifting local living standards, and boosting tourism, Governor Sagarbarria said.
The occasion was also attended by Mayor-elect Chiquiting Sagarbarria and Congresswoman-elect Maisa Sagarbarria.
The graduating students—Rhett Aila Austero, Rogelio Española Jr., Edison Camson, Berard Bonher Salomon, Jose Clarence Adasa, Jan Marc Elemia, Arvin Jay Patajo, and Princess Joy Mendez—expressed their gratitude for the support and guidance they received throughout their academic journey.
Their presentations received positive feedback from the officials, emphasizing the importance of fostering young talent in architecture to contribute to regional development.
This event not only marked a milestone for the graduating students but also underscored the commitment of local leaders to nurture innovation and sustainable growth in Negros Oriental. Governor Sagarbarria said the students’ fresh perspectives and innovative designs are valuable contributions toward shaping the landscape of the Province.
The courtesy call concluded with a call for continued collaboration between academia, government, and the private sector to support the development of sustainable infrastructure and tourism initiatives in Negros Oriental. (Provincial PIO)
