A new concrete bridge connecting Barangays Batinguel and Junob is expected to address traffic decongestion as the city’s population bloats during daytime, an official said Friday.
Kathy Aguilar, city tourism officer and concurrent public information officer, said this is the third of five bridges expected to be completed under the Remollo administration.
The two other bridges under construction are those in Barangay Candauay near the former dumpsite and in Poblacion Barangay 8.
The Batinguel-Junob bridge costs PHP21 million.
