Cebu Pacific Air marked its 100 millionth passenger milestone by making more than 100,000 seats available for the base fare of only P1.00.

“With this special seat sale, guests can take advantage of the lowest fares we’ve offered to our destinations, especially after the removal of fuel surcharges on all our flights,” said CEB VP for Marketing & Distribution Candice Iyog.

“We started operations in 1996, at a time when air travel was expensive. It will always be a privilege for us to link islands and countries together, and contribute to nation-building,” Iyog added.

CEB’s 100 millionth passenger is Yelen Bontuyan, who boarded a Cebu-Manila flight Jan. 8. She, along with all the other passengers on her flight, received tickets from Cebu Pacific. The airline also awarded her with P100,000.

Cebu Pacific’s 53-strong fleet is comprised of 10 Airbus A319, 30 Airbus A320, five Airbus A330, and eight ATR 72-500 aircrafts.

It is one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2015 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of eight more brand-new Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and one Airbus A330 aircraft.

It operates a network of 62 destinations, spanning Dubai, Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney, among others, as well as the most flights and routes within the Philippines.
