The newly elected officials of the Province of Negros Oriental and the City of Dumaguete will have a joint induction on Monday, June 30, in preparation for the takeover of the new administration on Tuesday, July 1.
Monday’s induction ceremony will be held at the Negros Oriental Convention Center beginning at 9 a.m.
After the ceremony, the Councilors of the City of Dumaguete will proceed to the Sangguniang Panlunsod where outgoing Vice Mayor, Congresswoman-elect Maisa Sagarbarria will formally turn over the office to incoming Vice Mayor Estanislao Alviola.
For the mayor’s office, Mayor-elect Manuel “Chiquiting” Sagarbarria will report to the City Hall on July 1.
