City to hold Charter fun run

The City of Dumaguete is inviting runners to join the 10-kilometer or 5-kilometer Challenge Run on Nov. 19 to celebrate the 75th Charter anniversary of Dumaguete City.

City Sports Coordinator Ike Xavier Villaflores said the run will start at the Pantawan People’s Park at the Rizal Boulevard.

Gun start for the 10K run is at 5 a.m.,  with a registration fee of P400 inclusive of a meal, race bib, and a finisher’s medal.

Meanwhile, gun start for the 5K is at 5:30 a.m. with a registration fee of P300 inclusive of a meal, race bib and finisher’s medal.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers (for men and  for women) in both categories.
