In line with Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria’s commitment to help job seekers with better employment opportunities, the city government through the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) will hold a local and overseas jobs fair on Wednesday, Aug. 20 at Robinson’s Place.

PESO head Maria Soccoro Mira has advised jobseekers to pre-register at her office located at the 2nd floor of the public market, and to bring with them: application letter, resume with 2×2 picture, photocopies of transcript of records, certificate of training, employment certificate, passport, visa.

She further said the applicants may bring at least three sets of the required documents.

The City’s Job Fair is held in coordination with Department of Labor and Employment, and the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.

Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria will give his inspirational message during the opening program.

According to Mira the job fair is in line with government’s thrust for the private sector to actively participate in providing employment to the people. (PIO)
