Engr. Conrado del Carmen, passed away at the Pomona Valley Medical Center, Pomona, California on June 15, 2014 on Father’s Day of kidney failure secondary to non-alcoholic related liver cancer.
Dado (as he was known to friends) finished Geodetic Engineering (1966) and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1968) from Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Philippines. He was active in Free Masonry and the Gideon Society, Silliman University Alumni of Southern California USA, an adviser of Negros Oriental Association USA, and had many friends and relatives in the Villanueva family, at Silliman University, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, and Ozamiz City. He came from a family of 10 children who all attended Silliman.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Go del Carmen, three children (Grace Lajato, Ryan del Carmen and Atty. Sherwin del Carmen) and four grandchildren.
The family will sorely miss him, so with his relatives and friends.
