The Colegio de Santa Catalina de Alejandria, formerly known as the Dumaguete Cathedral College, celebrates its 53rd founding year this week.

Festivity highlights include the Annual Alumni Homecoming on the eve of Saturday, Dec. 8 at the COSCA Multi-Purpose Gymnasium. The Annual Christmas Parade plies the streets of Dumaguete City on Sunday, Dec. 9 beginning at 5pm onward.

During the rest of the week until Dec. 16, members of the COSCA community will be holding friendly games among the students, faculty and staff.

The Community Extension Program will also spearhead several pre-Christmas cheering up with COSCA’s adopted communities at Barangay 8 and Barangay Calindagan. Activities include a feeding program, a visit to COSCA, and a medical mission.

Some Catalinans will also do a gift-giving treat at the Bureau of Jail Management & Penology, at the Talay Rehabilitation Center, and at the Talay Youth Home. (Jette S. Gonzales/COSCA)
