CRESCENCIANA (Mesing) CHUA ALCALA, 102 years old
Caliling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental

May 10, 1910 —July 20, 2012

Crescenciana Chua Alcala (Mesing to her friends and relatives) was taken to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday July 20, 2012. At the time of her death, she lived under the care of her children who resided in Dumaguete City and Cauayan, Negros Occidental.

Mesing lived a long, simple, and full life as wife to Porfirio Alcala, Sr. (now deceased), of Caliling, Cauayan, Negros Occidental. Through hard work, she and her husband successfully raised and educated their 10 children whom she was immensely proud of. She outlived all of her 18 siblings and three of her children.

Mesing is survived by her children as follows:

Angel & wife Naomi,
Quezon & wife Rebecca
Julieta A. Luchavez,
Nena A. Pascual,
Rogelia & husband Jimmy Hisona,
Mary & husband Agriculo Bangcal,
Timothy & wife Gelyn;

Daughters in-law Norma O. Alcala and Leticia R. Alcala; and

24 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Her great concern for, devotion to, and love for, the Lord Jesus Christ and her family will be remembered by all as her lasting legacy.

Interment will be at The Gardens Memorial Park, Cadawinonan, Dumaguete City, on Monday, July 23, 2012, at 3 pm, after a necrological service at the St. Peter Chapels, Banilad, Bacong.
