Three renowned choreographers from Cebu will lead the Skip Dance Family dance workshop on Oct. 26-27 at Sidlakang Village.
The Chief Rockas choreographers are Mike Mendoza, director (World of Dance Philippines, 2015 qualifier), John Rey Tabaloc, co-director, and Kenn Mijares Locking Champion Hiphop International-Visayas, Popping Silver Hiphop International-Visayas, Allstyle Battle 2nd placer of World of Dance Philippines.
According to Jim Kristoffer Sino-ag, one of the organizers, the goal of the workshop is to give more focus and attention on the choreography of the dance, and not necessarily on stunts.
“We want to help the Dumaguete dancers grow in their art and talent, help them see the new things in the industry, and to make them explore and get out of their comfort zone in dance,” Sinoag added. (Kim Selda/ SU Masscom Intern)
