The Department of Agrarian Reform recently distributed Certificates of Land Ownership Award to 38 agrarian reform beneficiaries in Mabinay, Negros Oriental.
Atty. Louie Naranjo of the provincial DAR office led the distribution of CLOAs at the barangay hall in Paniabonan, Mabinay town.
The land that was covered by the expanded Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program was formerly owned Benedicto Tirambulo, Angelo Tirambulo and Jacqueline Tirambulo, said Gherelen Rafols, information officer of the provincial DAR office.
It covers a total of 31.61 hectares, she said.
DAR officials are ready to entertain queries regarding the land distribution and can visit both the DAR office in Mabinay and the provincial DAR office in Dumaguete. (PNA/JFP)
