In a simple turnover ceremony, Atty. Louie L. Naranjo was formally installed as the new provincial Agrarian Reform program officer of the Department of Agrarian Reform-Negros Oriental.

The key of responsibility was turned over Sept. 10 by former Provincial Agrarian Reform Officer Stephen Leonidas, who has been promoted as Regional Director for DAR Region VII.

Moreover, PARO Alexander Juane also turned over to Atty. Naranjo the management of DAR Siquijor which has been merged with DAR Negros Oriental, with the implementation of Memorandum Circular 14, known as the Rationalization Plan.

The new Regional Director Leonidas emphasized that with the new set of officials in Region VII, their leadership will introduce innovation.

On the other hand, Naranjo expressed heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity and trust the Department gave him. He said he is committed to do his best as the new head for DAR Negros Oriental & Siquijor.

Atty. Naranjo was the chief of the DAR Legal Assistance Division for the past five years. (PR)
