Mayor Felipe Antonio “Ipe” Remollo leads the inauguration of the new fire sub-station in Barangay Daro, today, with City Fire Marshal Chief Insp. Mary Joy Candelario, NIR OIC Sr. Supt. Fred L. Trajeras Jr., City Planning and Development Officer Engr. Leonides Caro, City Budget Officer Antonieta General, Daro Barangay Captain Rogelio Siglos and City DILG Chief Farah Gentuya.
The site of the sub-station was strategically chosen to ensure quick response during emergency near the two major hospitals NOPH and SUMC with a fire truck and 7-man team. The city has requested for a brand new fire truck before the DILG national office. (PIO)
