DepEd conducts Brigada Eskwela

The Division of Dumaguete City of the Department of Education conducted the Brigada Eskwela known as the National Schools Maintenance Week from May 21-26.

The activity is a school maintenance program that engaged all education stakeholoders to contirubte their time, effort and resources in ensuring that public school facilities are set in time for the forthcoming school opening.

For this year, partners were encouraged to support the improvement of toilets and wash facilities as part of the DepED’s effort to strengthen awareness on the importance of hygiene and sanitation among students. Likewise, improving the schools in indigenous communities is encouraged.
