Dgte Vet to hold free spay, neuter for cats, dogs

The City Veterinary Office has announced the schedule for the free spaying and neutering of pet dogs and cats in September.

Due to limited slots, pet owners are advised to pre-register in August at the City Veterinary Office, 2nd Floor Building 2 Public Market.

Pet owners are asked to bring updated rabies vaccination cards during pre-registration and this service is limited to two pets per owner, who must be Dumaguete residents.

The pets to be spayed or neutered should have had no illness two weeks before surgery.

The schedule for the services is as follows:

September 24, 2024 – (Cats only) for 35 males and 15 females, weight requirement at least 1.5 kilos, age 6 months to 5 years old

September 25, 2024 – Castration (Dogs only) for 70 males, age 6 months- 5 years old

September 27, 2024 – Ligation (Dogs only) for 50 females age 6 months-5 years old
