Qualified employees of the City of Dumaguete may now look forward to getting a P3,000 anniversary bonus.
Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo approved the allocation of P3 million for the anniversary bonus at P3,000 for each qualified official and employee of the City government of Dumaguete, pursuant to Administrative Order No. 316 dated Feb, 24, 1997 issued by President Ramos.
Subsequently, the Sangguniang Panlungsod passed the Ordinance authorizing the appropriation of funds for the purpose.
Dumaguete City will celebrate the 75th year anniversary (diamond jubilee) as a Charter city on Nov. 24, and the grant of the bonus is expected to enhance the morale of the employees as they mark a milestone in public service.
Qualified to receive the bonus are regular and casual employees who have been in service for at least a year.
Meanwhile, Job Order workers are not entitled to receive the bonus based on Administrative Order No. 316 of President Ramos.
The anniversary bonus will be released to qualified employees as certified by the City Human Resource Office after the process is fully completed. (PR)
