Multi-awarded photographer Jay Alonzo has finally reversed the way basic photography workshops are conducted. Teaching for 15 years now, starting with film, and basing on countless workshops conducted, plus his personal experiences in learning the craft, he has designed the course in such a away that the feelings and intent of the photographer are given importance, supported by technique.
On Oct. 6, 2011, the historic campus of Silliman University, with its American architecture, plays host to amateur photographers who wish to enroll in Jay Alonzo’s Basic Digital Photography Workshop, highly—recommended for those who wish to maximize the use of a camera — be it professional, prosumer, or point-and-shoot.
For photographers who want to “level up,” the workshops then continue at bucolic Antulang Beach Resort, always a photographers’ haven, where Alonzo will further share his knowledge and skills with the intermediate and advanced digital workshops, slated for at Oct. 7 to 9.
Registration fee for both workshops is P18,000 including workshop materials, photography model, Tambobo Bay photo cruise, scheduled round trip transfers (airport to Silliman to Antulang to airport), four nights/five days accommodations at twin sharing, meals, snacks.
