Sixteen small-&-medium enterprises belonging to the crafts, food, and hospitality industries were the beneficiaries of an IT training on Effective Online Brochures and Bulletins held May 23-25 at Foundation University.
Topics included how to make effective designs, layouts and proper combination of color, text and images.
The training was Phase 3 of Project TECHIE (Training Enhancement for Competitiveness in Harnessing Innovative Entrepreneurs), a collaboration of the Department of Trade & Industry and the Philippine National IT Standards Foundation Inc. (PhilNITS).
The objective of Project TECHIE was to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs through trainings. It has four phases: Basic Computer Literacy and Applications Training; Promotion and Marketing: Internet-based Marketing (Blogging and Web Development); Electronic Brochure/Bulletin and E-commerce Applications; Market Research and Intelligence through Technology Applications.
