Dumaguete residents got a taste of a “flashmob” on Dec. 10 when “out of the blue”, people just strutted to the music in the main intersection of Perdices St., courtesy of instructions received from Teletech, the main organizer of the activity. Star dancer was Teletech employee Jowalsh Ortepa.
A flashmob is a sudden gathering of people from various sectors of society, unexpected except by the participants, who get instructions electronically through their iPhones or iPads to engage in something, like a dance, in a public space. (Photos by Sheila Tiu)
