Dumaguete produces 133 new licensed nurses

A total of 133 nurses from three Nursing colleges in Dumaguete hurdled the May 2014 Nurse Licensure Examinations.

Of this number, 53 came from Silliman University, 58 from St. Paul University Dumaguete, and 22 from Foundation University.

Silliman University, a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education as designated by the Commission on Higher Education, produced a 100 percent passing rate, and shared the top rank nationwide with two other schools in the country.

St. Paul University Dumaguete, on the other hand, obtained a 95.08 percent passing average, earning the 7th slot of Outstanding Nursing Schools in the country.

Foundation University produced an 81 percent passing average.
