Dumagueteno passes Real Estate Brokers exam

Homegrown Dumagueteno and one of only six pioneering graduates in 2011 of the degree Bachelor of Business Administration major in Economics at Silliman University, George Michael Madronial Genove passed the Real Estate Brokers Licensure Examination given by the Board of Real Estate Service of the Professional Regulation Commission on March 18, 2012 in Cebu City. The results of the exam were released on March 26, 2012.

Genove, who is at present a property consultant of Federal Land Inc., Marco Polo Residences, Cebu City, joins 3,192 examinees who successfully hurdled the licensure exam out of a total of 4,801 who took the exam in testing centers in Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Manila, Davao, Legazpi, and Iloilo.

This is the second year that the Professional Regulation Commission has administered the licensure exam. Prior to this, the Department of Trade & Industry facilitated the exam for many years that would allow the licensing of real estate brokers.

Genove was Sangguniang Kabataan chair of Poblacion Barangay 6, Dumaguete City in 2007-2010. (PR)
