Foundation University students won awards in various sports competition for the month of October 2015.
Eighth grader Ann Quitoy captured a silver medal in javelin throw while tenth grader Marjorie Uy placed third in the long jump women category in the 2015 National Milo Little Olympics in Sta. Cruz, Laguna. Quitoy and Uy were the lone medalists from Negros Oriental, crucial in helping Team Visayas grab the Championship title.
For the Governor’s Cup Badminton Tournament, FoundationU grabbed the second place in the Open Men Doubles and Open Mix Doubles categories. This year’s edition was held at the City Gymnasium of Bayawan City last October 23-25. (Febby Marton Rule)
