Freemasons conduct Bigay Tulong sa Eskwela Project

The Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines-Mount Kaladias Lodge No. 91, in cooperation with Yokosuka Lodge No. 20 of Japan, had a gift-giving program on June 1st for earthquake victims in Ayungon, Negros Oriental.

The activity was called Bigay Tulong sa Eskwela in Iniban Elementary School in Ayungon town.

Over 250 elementary students from nursery up to grade 6 received school supplies, school bags, and other necessities for the coming school opening.

Barangay Iniban in Ayungon is a coastal barangay where small-scale fishing is the source of income. It was recently hit by magnitude 6.9 earthquake.

The Bigay Tulong sa Eskwela is a yearly project of the Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines-Mount Kaladias Lodge No. 91 in Dumaguete City. (Roy August Bustillo)
