FU bests Dgte schools in finance competition

Foundation University bested three other schools in Dumaguete in the 13th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition Elimination Rounds nationwide simultaneously last September 23 at JP Morgan Chase and Co. IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City.

Dean Julhusin Jalisan of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy said their team lost by one question to land in fourth place in the annual contest. The Colegio de Sta. Catalina de Alejandria placed 8th, Norsu landed in 11th place while Silliman University placed 13th out of 15 schools from Central Visyas which joined the contest.

The contestants from FU, led by faculty adviser Peter Enfestan, topped this contest in Central Visayas last year, emerging 8th overall in the national finals held in Manila. This contest is sponsored by the Finance Executives Institute of the Philippines.
