Foundation University recently announced the appointment of various heads of academic offices who will lead the institution as it celebrates its diamond jubilee (75th year) on July 4.
Victor Vicente “Dean” Sinco, chairman of the Board and president of Foundation University, named Dr. Charlotte Cariňo who will head the institution as University chancellor and concurrent vice chancellor for Academic Affairs.
The other vice chancellors are Atty. Jesus Ramon Quevenco for Development & External Affairs and concurrent dean of the College of Law; Darlene Mae Mamhot for Finance and concurrent University comptroller and chair of the Accountancy program;
and Dr. Lucelle Saguban for Administration and concurrent director for Professional Resources Management, and chair of the Public Administration graduate programs.
Sinco also announced the promotion of Glene May Lusares as assistant vice chancellor for Academic Support and concurrent director for Quality Assurance.
Other heads of the respective programs and colleges include: Agriculture Dean Jobert Kleine Koerkamp, Arts & Sciences Acting Dean Peter Macabinguil, Business Administration Dean Ligaya Mae Concepcion, Computer Studies OIC Cecilia Benlota, Criminology OIC Francis Jade Marimat, Education Dean Dr. Erlinda Calumpang, Hospitality Management Dean Antonio Bendal Jr., Nursing Dean Jethri Ken Carlo Catalan, Industrial Engineering & Technology Dean Marlon Tanilon (concurrent Alumni Relations officer), Graduate School Dean Dr. Romario Ybañez (concurrent Research & Extension director);
Foundation Preparatory Academy Administrator Aljun Selorio ( concurrent principal for Senior High School), Junior High School Principal Marthom Nikkolaus Flores, and Grade School Principal Charie Mae Pino.
Appointed chairpersons of the various programs were: Charlotte Schmidt for Architecture, Sandra Palomar-Quan for Fine Arts, and Dr. Maria Cecilia Genove for Broadcast Communication (concurrent Marketing & Business Development consultant).
Meanwhile, Architect Sinco, president of Entheos IT Inc., also announced the promotion of two senior associates, and two junior associates.
Janeth Balolong and Arch. Leigh Lagrimas were promoted as senior associates of the design company; while Arch. Franz Mauris Gacrama and Je Vincent Villaruz were promoted as junior associations.
Sinco said the newly-promoted designers and architects earned their promotions after demonstrating good performance. He added that their promotions also signal the capability of Entheos to be able to work on more diverse projects.
