Badminton athletes from Foundation University won places in the recently-concluded National University Games held Oct. 24 to 30 in Dumaguete City.
Kinneth Arcinal, Quiven Rocillo. and Benjan Yee won silver in the Team Tie category.
On the other hand, for the individual men’s singles category, Quiven Rocillo also clinched the second spot (silver) while Kinneth Arcinal also won the bronze medal.
Foundation University will host the Unigames next year for the fourth time.
The University’s commitment to help in the development of sports in the country can be seen through its constant hosting of the national competition in 2000, 2002, and in 2008.
In 2010, Foundation University garnered the highest number of awards among the schools from the Visayas.
