Foundation University is hosting this year’s University Games (UNIGAMES).

Roger Banzuela, Unigames president, made this announcement in a meeting with provincial sports officials and Foundation University officials last Friday at Foundation University.

Banzuela and his party were in Dumaguete to check on the availability of playing and billeting venues for the athletes for this annual athletic competition, to be held on October 20-28.

This will dovetail with the Buglasan Festival of Negros Oriental, which will be held on October 17-26.

Banzuela said details are now being finalized for the 2014 Unigames and a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement is being scheduled for June. (AP)
