GMA Network hosts trade launch for advertising partners

Leading broadcast company GMA Network, Inc. recently hosted a star-studded event for its valued and loyal partners in the trade to unveil the slate of new programs and projects.

Kapuso Station’s bigwigs headed by Chairman & CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, President & COO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr., Executive Vice President & CFO Felipe S. Yalong; President & COO of GMA Marketing & Productions, Inc Lizelle G. Maralag joined the network’s advertising partners in witnessing the grand launch of its major projects for the last part of 2012 and first quarter of 2013.

It was an afternoon of fun and surprises as the biggest and brightest Kapuso stars joined forces to take part in the celebration and provide entertainment to its key partner-advertisers. The special gala event also showcased the new campaigns, and initiatives with the integration of the latest digital technology in advertising and promotions.

Among the programs presented in the trade launch were the primetime offerings Pahiram ng Sandali with Lorna Tolentino, Christopher de Leon, Max Collins and Dingdong Dantes; Temptation of Wife with Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro, Rafael Rossel and Marian Rivera; and the highly-anticipated historical fantasy series, Indio topbilled by Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr. with Rhian Ramos, Sarah Lahbati, Alden Richards, Michael de Mesa, Sam Pinto, Rachelle Ann Go, and Jennylyn Mercado.

Also in attendance were the lead actors and actresses of the Afternoon Prime shows Yesterday’s Bride with Lovi Poe, Rocco Nacino, Luis Alandy, Ara Mina, Mark Bautista; Sana ay Ikaw na Nga with Mikael Daez, Andrea Torres, Gabby Eigenmann; Magdalena with Bela Padilla, Ryan Eigenmann, Dion Ignacio, Pancho Magno, Lexi Fernandez; Paroa: Ang Kwento ni Mariposa with Barbie Forteza and Derrick Monasterio; and for the morning drama, Cielo de Angelina, with Bea Binene and Jake Vargas.

Multi-awarded broadcast journalist Mel Tiangco graced the trade presentation as the host of award-winning drama anthology Magpakailanman.

GMA News & Public Affairs and GMA News TV presented the new additions to its program line-ups including the most extreme reality game show on Philippine TV – Extra Challenge hosted by Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera together with Boobay. State of the Nation hosted by the most-trusted news presenter Jessica Soho was likewise featured in the event.

GMA Network’s most comprehensive and most credible coverage of next year’s national elections was also presented via Eleksyon 2013 with the attendance of GMA News personalities including Mike Enriquez, Arnold Clavio, Vicky Morales, Howie Severino, Rhea Santos, Ivan Mayrina, Pia Arcangel, Susan Enriquez, Lala Roque.

Advertisers had a meet and greet opportunity with the hosts of Taste Buddies, Kusina Master and Sarap Diva, all cooking shows of GMA and GMA News TV.
