High school leadership confab at YMCA

The YMCA Youth Work & Education Committee headed by its chair, Rafael K. Gadiane, announces the holding of a three-day High School Student Council Officers Leadership Conference on Oct. 29-31 at the YMCA Guest House & Development Center.

The theme of the conference is Transforming Youth Dynamism in the Community with topics on Youth as Agent of Change, Youth SK Experience … then What?, Empowering Youth for Community Leadership, Social Network as a Unifying and Change Factor.

Open to high school student council officers from public and private schools, the conference is designed primarily to give leadership inputs as well as provide an avenue for wholesome discussion of prevailing issues affecting the youth nowadays.
