It takes guts

Congratulations to MetroPost columnist Tasha Maxine Flores-Bulado who wrote the best piece (Surprise! Women do age, March 16) I have read in 10 years of reading the MetroPost every Sunday.

No one wants to touch on that topic. Sadly, it’s too naked and raw of a display of humanity at some of its worse. A huge topic. Entire lives of generations of women are molded by this stupidity of successful marketing of beauty products, and more. No touch with reality.

Thank you for bringing it up. It takes guts to write about this.
