A male nurse shot and killed his wife Thursday night inside their car in Dumaguete City.
Police said Ken Lloyd Puebla Kinilitan, 39, of barangay Mangnao, shot his wife, 36-year-old Madelyn, with a still unknown firearm in a fit of jealousy. She sustained a single gunshot wound in the neck.
Police said they received information about the crime form a walk-in informant at 3:30 a.m., who told them that a man shot his companion inside a car at Angatan Bridge, often referred to as Bag-ong Taytayan.
Madelyn, a native of Calasiao, Pangasinan, was also a nurse.
The suspect voluntarily surrendered to police after they found him at the home of his friend.
He told police that he and his wife quarreled over a “third party”. The husband said he shot his wife around 7 p.m. of Thursday, and that he just kept driving around the City until the crime was reported to the police by dawn of Friday.
