Kasambahay registration on July 30

The Department of Labor & Employment in Negros Oriental, in coordination with the Department of Interior & Local Government, the Social Security System, Pag-Ibig, PhilHealth, and the City Government of Dumaguete will conduct a start-up registration of domestic workers or kasambahay on July 30 at Robinson Mall.

DILG City Local Government Operations Officer Felix Ablir Jr., through Mayor Sagarbarria, urged barangay captains in Dumaguete to encourage and assist employers of household domestic workers in their respective areas of their responsibility to attend and register their workers.

SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG representatives will also be accepting applications for membership. (PIO-Dumaguete)
