Dumaguete’s frisbee team Extreme bagged the championship in Pool A during the National Ultimo Abril Quatro Frisbee Tournament held April 15 to 17 at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Cebu City. Team Extreme won all their games from day 1 until the championship game against team KKK (composed of mixed frisbee players from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao) with a score of 13—2.

This year’s 4th National Ultimo Abril tournament was participated by 18 teams from all over the country. Due to budget constraints, only 13 Extreme players went to Cebu for the tournament; despite that, they were able to grab the following awards: Most Valuable Player (male) for Pool A awarded to Tajji Pasigna, and one of the Mythical Seven (female) awarded to Bea Belciña.

The participation of Team Extreme in the tournament in Cebu would not have been realized without the support of Gov. Roel Degamo, Sweyn Ferraren of Botica Real, Vincent Ramirez, and Christine Torres-Pasigna of Payag sa Likod Restobar. (PR)
