LTO Dumaguete improves office

Aside from the provision of air-conditioning units, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Dumaguete has implemented about 10 projects and programs to ensure an efficient working environment for its clients as of press time.

Newly realized projects and programs include the renovation of the office’s main stairway, construction of a roofing structure at the main entrance, acquisition of 30 plastic chairs, replacement of all busted bulbs and provision of two hot and cold water dispenser for clients and employees.

Furthermore, a general clean-up drive of the office’s perimeters, provision of trash bins, First Aid Box and a cell phone deposit box were also realized.

On-going projects of the said office encompasses the renovation of two additional storage areas and preparation of office frontage for planned landscaping and additional waiting area.

LTO Dumaguete City District Office is vying for Best Brigada Ahensya Award 2018. This award is organized by the Civil Service Commission Region 7 in celebration of its 118th Philippine Civil Service Commission Anniversary.

Last year LTO Bayawan City District Office got the same award in three (3) categories. All these accomplishments were made possible by the Acting Chief Dr. Alberta Janine F. Lawas. (PNA)
