She is survived by her children Levi C. Locsin and wife Grace B. Locsin, Ramon C. Locsin and wife Anabelle C. Locsin, Rozzano C. Locsin, Christophia C. Locsin and husband Leo G. Bollos. She was blessed with many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in life by her husband Vicente Teves Locsin, Jr. and her children Maria Corazon C. Locsin, Jose Maria C. Locsin and Lucille Elizabeth C. Locsin.
A strong-willed woman, she epitomized a kind, loving and gentle matriarch. Out mother always sought for family reconciliation. She was unselfish. She will be greatly missed.
Though much is taken, much abides; And though We are not now that strength which in old days Moved earth and heaven; That which we are, we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts, Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
Her body lies in state at Eterna Funeral Homes, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.
Interment is on April 8, 2017 (Saturday), after the 1 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, with Bishop Julito Cortes as celebrant.
Public viewing at the Chapel of the Sto. Nino, Maslog, Sibulan, Negros Oriental is on April 6 and 7, 2017.
