The celebration of unity and purpose was nothing short of amazing! The Relief Society of Dumaguete Stake delivered an event that we will all remember as sisters. We all felt welcomed and included as we came together to celebrate a momentous occasion—the 182nd anniversary of our cherished organization.

With hearts full of joy and determination, we embarked on a day filled with laughter, sisterhood, and the reaffirmation of our shared mission, that is, to provide relief both temporally but more especially, spiritually.

The event officially began with welcome remarks from Pres. Miko Dave Lado (1st counselor of the Dumaguete Stake Presidency), followed by a powerful song number delivered by Sis. Jhonna Maagad.

Then a video of Sisters in Action was played through the screen displaying a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of service that defines our Relief Society.

United in purpose, we carefully watched as sisters showcased their dedication to providing relief both temporally and spiritually.

With each act of service, our collective resolve was strengthened, reminding us of the profound impact we can make when we join hands in love and compassion.

Following the inspiring display of service, the atmosphere shifted to excitement and fun as we hopped on the lively trivia session. Laughter echoed through the room as sisters took their chances for exciting prizes, backing each other up with reminders, as we bonded over shared knowledge and solidarity.

As we were approaching the much awaited showdown, each unit took the stage to warm up the crowd with spirited performances. Cheers filled up the room as sisters showcased their talents, igniting an excitement that we all anticipate.

Then came the highlight of the event—the feast. A tantalizing array of dishes, lovingly prepared by sisters from different branches, adorned the tables, inviting us to indulge in a celebration of flavors and fellowship. Amidst the shared laughter and heartwarming stories, bonds were strengthened, and memories were forged that would last a lifetime.

But the climax of the event began as the stage came alive with a series of breathtaking performances that truly proved the diverse talents and unwavering spirit of our sisters.

An overly entertaining performance was then initiated by the dynamic sisters, our very own Relief Society President, Sis Sunday Gequinto Alit, and our Stake Primary President, Sis Angel Luna, along with their sister Sis Janet Gequinto, captivating everyone in the room as they showcased their skill in ballroom dancing.

They were then followed by succeeding array of talents that hyped the crowd one performance at a time. Each unit delivered their performances uniquely, and as wonderful as it was with well prepared costumes that highlighted the entirety of the event.

Hearts overflowed with love and gratitude as we bid farewell to another unforgettable celebration. With arms linked and spirits lifted, we departed strengthened by the bonds of sisterhood, and renewed in our commitment to serve and uplift one another. For such momentous events only remind us that together, we are truly unstoppable.

In the end, it was not just a celebration of the past 182 years, but a reaffirmation of our collective purpose—to love, to serve, and to lift one another higher.

And as we journey forward, hand in hand, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for the incredible blessing of sisterhood.
