Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo has appointed Atty. M. Mikhail Lee Maxino as a member of the Board of Directors of the Dumaguete City Water District.
Maxino will represent the professional (education) sector in the DCWD Board which was occupied by Prof. Cleonico Fontelo.
A former City Legal Officer of Dumaguete under the initial term of Remollo, Maxino was dean of the SU College of Law, and spearheaded the establishment of the Salonga Center for Law & Development at Silliman.
The DCWD Board is composed of Atty. Cynthia Portugaleza as chair, with directors: Atty. Doram Dumalagan, Tyrone Ramas Uypitching, Atty. Cyrus Riconalla, and Maxino; with Engr. Eric Diaz as general manager.
