The Saceda Youth Lead is conducting the national search for the Most Inspiring Teachers of the Philippines to recognize the extraordinary contributions of teachers in strengthening the Filipino family, community and the nation.
The annual search is bringing together in Dumaguete nine nominees from Luzon, eight nominees from the Visayas, and nine nominees from Mindanao. They will be here from Feb. 25 to 28 for the formation training of batch 2018 to be held at the SYL Center in Candauay.
The nominees for the Visayas include Ma. Monica Angela “Teacher Maru” Rodriguez of South Dale Integrated School, Rosela Abiera representing the Department of Education-Negros Oriental, and Mary Ann Temprosa of the Silliman University School of Basic Education.
The national award given by Saceda Youth Lead and its significant partners aims to empower and honor teachers who have contributed and impacted families and communities extraordinarily; and have assisted SYL in achieving its mission and vision in empowering leaders and strengthening communities in the Philippines, ASEAN, Asian and West African regions.
For the past 20 years, Saceda Youth Lead, a leadership development consultancy firm and a Youth Serving Institution of the Philippines under the auspices of the National Youth Commission of the Philippines, continues to pupils and students and professionals to become most effective citizens of the country by providing them opportunities in leadership, community service, and exchange and builds leadership through education and action.
