Muffet Dolar-Villegas recently opened her 8th Solo Art Exhibit, themed Light and Shadows at the Spanish Heritage.

Muffet has always been partial to uplifting, energetic colors, and her exhibit is reflective of her engaging, positive personality. Local landscapes and blooming flowers dominate her exhibit, which runs until March 10, with viewing hours from 2 to 9pm, Mondays through Saturdays.

Muffet is currently working on a series of shows for 2012, and will soon launch her inspirational book, also titled Light and Shadows, where she talks about the loves of her life: painting, writing and teaching, and how these have inspired her in her struggles as a breast cancer survivor.

A portion of the proceeds will help jumpstart Edge Radio, a Christian radio station in Negros Oriental.

Muffet would like to thank the Almighty, her immediate family, close friends Andrew and Gilda Scribner, and extended family and friends, for their untiring help and constant support.
