The Local Government Unit of Valencia through its Fiesta Directorate and the Mutya ng Valencia Organizing Committee recently held its official screening at the Valencia Sports & Cultural Complex.

The Mutya ng Valencia Screening Committee selected 10 official candidates for this year’s search out of the many aspiring candidates coming from the different barangays of the municipality.

This year’s Mutya ng Valencia official candidates are Hannah Liberty Elizabeth Rhodes, Jollyprim Katriz Mae Sy, Ma. Divina Vera Cruz, Jenzceil Shimmerl Alum, Donna V. Alviola, Angelica Bolingot, Angie Jalandoni, M. E. Villegas, Jirah Tatoy, and Earlyn Kay Sarita.

Aside from the final selection and coronation night within the Valencia Fiesta Celebration next month, there are numerous activities that are scheduled for the 10 official candidates such as the Valencia Destination Profile Orientation, Creative Personality Development Seminar— Workshop, Communication Development Seminar— Workshop, Enrichment Session on Stage Presentation & Walking, press conference, radio & TV visits and other developmental and outreach program activities.

The Mutya ng Valencia 2013 official winners will take home cash prizes, corporate, special awards and countless tokens from the fiesta sponsors and benefactors. (PR)
