NEW JERSEY, USA — What a year!  I am beyond grateful for making it this far.  God is good!

1.There are good days.  There are not-so-good days. Every single day is a gift from God. Never waste a day by complaining. Live it with gratitude, humility, and hope.

  1. Stop playing politics. Stop flexing your personal achievements. Never scheme your way to the top. It is God who promotes. When God sees you fit, all the right doors will open for you.
  2. Toxic people will pull you into their dramas. Choose your relationships prayerfully. Ask God to surround you with people who genuinely love God, and who sincerely have a heart for others.

4. Be kind to others, especially to your family. Life is hard and will keep getting harder. Never judge. Never cancel or shame anyone. God has been kind and gracious to you, even when you were most underserving.

  1. Procrastination is deadlier than you think. Every delayed obedience to God is a delayed blessing. Even the smallest beginning is powerful. With God’s help, do what you need to do, now.
  2. We need mentors to grow. Those who refuse to learn from others will never succeed. Ask for help. There is no need to pretend that you know, even if you don’t. Pray that God will give you godly curiosity, and a passion to create. Have the heart of a learner.
  3. Insecurity is real. Never hide it or try so hard to overachieve. There is no need to overcompensate. Ask God to help you understand and realize how deeply-loved, valued, and precious you are.
  4. Spend wisely. Save consistently. Invest carefully. Work faithfully. Too much social media is unhealthy for your heart and mind. God is watching if you can be trusted with more.
  5. It is important to distinguish deep intimacy from shallow spirituality. There is no need to show off or impress. Learn to genuinely put God first in all you do, especially when no one is watching.
  6. Accept correction. Welcome rebuke. Stop making excuses for your weaknesses and mistakes. God sees clearly what you can still become. Practice self-compassion.  God is not done with you, at least not yet.
