Members of the Silliman community gathered at the Gate of Service leading to the Leopoldo Ruiz Administration Hall to formally open the International Cultural Exchange Month through a memorable flag-raising ceremony.
Guests from 59 countries simultaneously raised their respective national flags to officially open the University’s International Cultural Exchange Month, underscoring the diversity and unity of the Silliman community.
The short program before the flag-raising ceremony was facilitated by international/foreign students enrolled at Silliman.
The University currently has 151 international students from 59 countries in Asia and South Pacific, North and South America, Europe, and Africa. (SU OIP)
