NegOr joins int’l travel fest in Cebu

Travel and tour operators, service providers, potential investors, and tourists and over a hundred exhibitors including the Department of Tourism regional offices are convergd in Cebu until July 13 for the International Travel Festival.

With the theme Endless Wonders, Endless Possibilities, the ITF targets the growing number of domestic tourists (11 million as of the 2010 DOT count), with fresh travel destinations and customized bargain packages to entice locals looking for new travel destinations with more punch than usual.

The province of Negros Oriental is participating with a booth, sponsored by the city of Dumaguete, Hui Discover Travel, Maganda Travel & Tours, Orientwind Travel & Tours, and the Negros Oriental Hotels, Resorts & Restaurants Association.

Myla Mae Abellana, senior tourism operations officer, said tourism frontliners from both the Dumaguete and Provincial Tourism offices are being assisted by private sector stakeholders in manning the booth at the Ayala Center Cebu. (PTO PR)
