The Provincial Tourism Office of Negros Oriental once again presented select tourism destinations of Negros Oriental in a booth exhibit at the recently concluded Philippine Travel Mart (PTM), held September 6 — 8 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex.

Myla Mae B. Abellana, Senior Tourism Operations Officer, said the PTM, organized by the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA), is the biggest gathering of industry stakeholders, tourism-oriented establishments, tour and travel agencies and writers, media, prospective tourists and investors, and a huge number of domestic and international travelers looking for fresh tour alternatives.

The Provincial Tourism Office invited representatives from the Association of Travel & Tours In Negros (ATTIN) and the Negros Oriental Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NOATTA) to sell tour packages in the booth, and the Dumaguete City Tourism Office to share the booth space, Abellana said.

The is one of the biggest sources of inbound travelers for Central Visayas, and has always been a primary venue for Negros Oriental to showcase its finest attractions, thus the efforts made annually to keep the Negros Oriental presence in the Philippine tourism industry picture, Abellana added.
