The City Government of Dumaguete inaugurated state-of-the-art comfort rooms located at the end of the Rizal Boulevard, beside the Dumaguete Press Club building in a simple ceremony Friday morning.

In his message, Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria said the toilet, a state-of-the-art and environment-friendly comfort room, is censor- operated, and is equipped with hand soap and toilet paper.

The facility brings to nine the number of waterless comfort rooms funded by the city government; eight of these are fully functional at the Dumaguete Public Market.

Also present during the blessing and inauguration were Market Superintendent Engr. Jose Fortin, City Legal Officer Neil Ray Lagahit, City Engr. Edwin Kirit, with Rev. Fr. Roman Sagon as the celebrant. (PIO)
