Final preparations are now underway for the celebration of this year’s Annual Provincial NGO & PO Week, sponsored by the provincial government of Negros Oriental in coordination with the Department of Interior & Local Government, under the auspices of the Negros Oriental Network of NGOs (NegOrNet).

This year’s theme is Enhancing Grassroots Participation in Local Governance. Activities for the week-long celebration include the Anniversary Conference and Briefing on Aug. 3; the CSO Provincial Consultation Workshop on One Negros One Island Region on Aug. 4; Provincial Consultation & Forum on Grassroots Participatory Budgeting Process on Aug. 5-6; Pre-Judging Session: 2014 Timbayayong Award on Aug. 7; Exhibits, Final Judging & Awards Recognition Program for 2014 Timbayayong Awards for Outstanding LGU & NGO/PO) Partnership on Aug. 8.
