The Negros Oriental Medical Society (NOMS) is celebrating the 54th National Medicine Week Celebration starting Sept. 18.
On Sept. 18, there will be a “Run for One, Run for All” fun run that will begin at Quezon Park at 5am. The proceeds of fun run will go to ONE Rescue. There will be a wreath laying ceremony at the Jose Rizal Monument. By 6 pm, there will be an induction of officers and the annual dinner at Bethel Guest House.
On Sept. 21, there will be “So you think you can Live to Dance” at the Bethel Guest House and will feature the NOMS SPAN Talent Search. Then by Sept. 24, there will be a Scientific Symposia at Bethel.
Finally on Sept. 25th, there will be a Family Day to be held at Bravo Golf & Country Club.
The NOMS 2011 officers are Dr. Elminda B. Oracion, president; Dr. Robert Michael T. Ozoa, vice president; Dr. Delia T. Rosales, secretary; Dr. Jennifer P. Emperado, treasurer; Dr. Susan Micaela Ozoa-Denura, PRO.
Last year’s president was Dr. Kenneth T. Coo.
